Man injured after shooting on West 40th Street in Norfolk

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A man was injured after a shooting on West 40th Street in Norfolk Sunday morning, according to the Norfolk Police Department.

At around 1:20 a.m. on June 21, the department responded to the 1500 block of West 40th Street for a reported gunshot victim. When officers arrived to the scene, they found a man with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his arm. He was transported to receive medical treatment.
