SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Traffic was impacted on Route 460 due to residential trailer fire in Suffolk Thursday night.
According to officials, Suffolk Fire and Rescue units first responded to reports of a residential structure fire in the 4400 block of Pruden Boulevard at 6:44 p.m. this evening.
Upon arrival at 6:48 p.m., firefighters arrived and located a residential trailer and debris on fire.
Units utilized multiple hand lines to control the fire both within the trailer and on the debris surrounding the structure.
As a result of the response, Route 460 was closed between Old Mrytle Road and Providence Road. This caused significant traffic delays, which necessitated a response from both Suffolk Police and Public Works.
