NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A man is dead after a shooting on Pecan Point Road in Norfolk Saturday evening, according to the Norfolk Police Department.
On July 25 at around 9:40 p.m., Norfolk Police were dispatched to the 800 block of Pecan Point Road for a reported gunshot disturbance. When officers arrived to the scene, they were guided to a man who was hit by gunfire.
Medics pronounced him dead at the scene. Many parked vehicles and one occupied residence were also hit by gunfire during the shooting.
