PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — Thursday should have been a 34th birthday celebration filled with birthday balloons and candles for De’Shaviya Jerry.
Instead, her family gathered just outside where she lived at the London Oaks Apartments on High Street, not far from where Jerry was shot and killed last Thursday, July 23, by a stray bullet while asleep on her couch, and they’re pleading for anyone with information about what happened to her to come forward.
