Norfolk schools placed on lockdown following reports of possible nearby shooting

NORFOLK, Va. — Police are investigating a report of a possible shooting in Norfolk, leading to two nearby schools being placed in a lockdown as a precaution.

Officials said Norfolk police officers responded to a report of gunshots in the 200 block of Harvard Street around 1:20 p.m. There are no confirmed victims at this time, but police are continuing to investigate.
