VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — The Patriotic Festival is returning to its roots in 2027 for a weekend of country music at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront.
City leaders along with Whisper Concerts, The Patriotic Festival Board and IMGoing Events are expected to make the official announcement Wednesday morning according to Ira Agricola, who co-founded the event back in 2004.
The festival, which features global touring country artists as well as military displays and tributes, was based at the beach for 18 years before it made the high-profile move to Downtown Norfolk in 2021…
