Happy 100th anniversary to Midway Airport. It started small and is now a major international airport. Our neighborhood airport was established in 1926. This is the same year my mom was born. It was a good year.
The 11th Annual Archer Car Show will take place at 6800 W. Archer Ave. on Friday, June 5, from 6 to 9 p.m. I’ve been told that past Archer Car Shows are always fun and that you will have a great time looking at all the show cars. This is a rain or shine event for the whole family. There will be food trucks as well.
After the car show I suggest having a drink or bite to eat at Danny’s Pizza and Burger Bar just down the street at 6021 S. Archer. Sit down, relax, have a drink and enjoy a really good pizza. They are open until 10 p.m. Call Danny’s at 773-582-3456.
