A 15-year-old boy from Chicago has been left paralyzed after suffering a rare spinal stroke while playing golf.

Wesley Freeman, a student at Wheaton North High School and member of their golf team, had the stroke on March 22, a GoFundMe page set up by the teenager’s cousin, Natalie Bielski, confirmed.

The stroke affected his C1-T7 vertebrae, and he is paralyzed from the upper chest down, the page stated…
