2 people shot, 1 by Chicago police officer in Uptown, alderman says

The Civilian Office of Police Accountability says they’re investigating a shooting involving a police officer on Monday night on the city’s North Side.

According to a statement released by Ald. Andre Vasquez (40th), the shooting happened in the 1400 block of West Argyle Street in the Uptown neighborhood.

The alderman says two people were reportedly shot, with one of the injured being shot by a Chicago police officer. He says both victims were taken to hospitals in serious condition…
