Two brothers have won a $27 million lawsuit they filed against a Streeterville hotel after a stranger allegedly forced his way into one of their rooms and attempted to sexually assault one of them in November 2022, according to court records.
Pasquinel Taylor, now 47, had been free for about a week after allegedly being found sleeping in a stranger’s Boystown home without permission when the incident allegedly occurred at the Sheraton Grand Chicago, 301 East North Water Street.
Taylor, who was not a hotel guest, entered the property on November 8, rode an elevator after a registered guest used a key card to activate the security system, and then wandered the premises for hours without being confronted by staff, the lawsuit alleged.
