LAKEMOOR, Ill. (WGN) — Help arrived from the sky by way of a high-tech rescue for a beloved lost dog who was lost and alone in Chicago’s northwest suburbs.
Valorie Revere has since been reunited with her 12-year-old husky named ‘Bandit,’ who disappeared Saturday, June 13, after surviving several days stuck in the mud in a cold marsh in Lakemoor.
Bandit made a dash when a door at Revere’s home was left open.
Revere contacted Pero Radulovic of Pero’s Backwoods Drone Search and Rescue. By Sunday afternoon, Radulovic had been in the area for five hours, searching for the Bandit to no avail. He went back on Monday, about 3 a.m. Using his drone with thermal imaging, Radulovic located the missing dog…
