A relentless retired Chicago detective has formed a group that’s determined to ensure cold cases are not forgotten.
Pam Childs worked for the Chicago Police Department for almost 30 year before retiring in 2018. She now works on some of the most devastating and puzzling missing persons cases in the Chicago area.
“Missing persons cases are just a part of me,” Childs said. “I know that nobody else is gonna do it. I know when I talk to families and they say, ‘I haven’t heard from the police department in over two years, and my daughter’s still missing.’”…
