CHICAGO — Ohio Street will remain closed between the Kennedy Expressway and Orleans Street in downtown Chicago through the weekend due to ongoing repairs.
The Illinois Department of Transportation previously announced that concrete pavement patching to repair the Ontario and Ohio St. ramps to the elevated bridges in Chicago will require a full closure over three weekends, alternating between Ontario and Ohio streets.

This weekend’s closure, which began at 11 p.m. Friday, is the second of the three planned closures. Ohio St. will remained closed between the Kennedy Expressway and Orleans St. through Sunday night before being reopened by 5 a.m. on Monday, June 29, IDOT says.
