Proposed Illinois toll increase to support road improvements draws concerns ahead of public hearings

The first of 13 public hearings on proposed Illinois Tollway rate increases is scheduled for Monday evening, giving residents and stakeholders an opportunity to provide feedback on a plan the Tollway says is needed to fund a 15-year, $26.5 billion infrastructure program.
