Late Wednesday night, July 14, 2026, Chicago Canine Rescue (CCR) received a call from one of their volunteers who had been at Brown Brothers Tattoo in Humboldt Park when she noticed a dog waiting outside. He was alone, and no one came over to claim him or to take him home.
As the volunteer and kind employees from the shop approached, it wasn’t difficult to see how sweet and gentle the dog was. Sadly, he was just so heartbreakingly thin.
