LANSING, Ill. (WGN) — In a south suburban neighborhood where many remain without power, utility crews, public works crews and first responders were out into the overnight hours assessing damage following a difficult day for residents.
Violent, fast-moving storms ripped through Chicagoland on Monday, with homes in Lansing, Illinois, suffering major damage that left some without roofs and others without homes altogether.
