A Chicago-area disappearance that baffled authorities for four years has come to an end after a missing Milwaukee teenager was located alive in Blacksburg, Virginia, where officials say she was held captive.
Joniah Walker vanished on June 23, 2022, at the age of 15. According to law enforcement, Walker traveled via an Uber arranged by a man she had communicated with online for several years, taking the ride from Milwaukee to meet him outside a Chicago movie theater.
