A Chicago woman is accused of orchestrating armed robberies of two drug dealers by tipping off two accomplices, including her 17-year-old nephew, to their location and then posing as an additional victim of the crime.
Nakeia Hamilton, 28, was detained by Judge John Hock after prosecutors accused her of orchestrating the August 6 robbery in the 5000 block of West Jackson Boulevard and recruiting two accomplices, including her teenage nephew, to carry it out.
According to prosecutors and a CPD report, Hamilton knew the victims would have approximately $10,000 worth of narcotics when she FaceTimed her nephew, gave him a description of one of the victims’ vehicles and instructed him to rob them when they arrived.
