Urban Explorers Discover Secrets Inside Illinois Clock Tower

It’s been called one of the most endangered abandoned buildings in Illinois. It’s a historic clock tower that many are trying to preserve and now there’s a new look at what remains inside just revealed by urban explorers.

This is another nice find by the obsoleteVoids YouTube channel. They’ve taken a look inside the Central Manufacturing District Clock Tower located at 2000 W. Pershing Road in the Chicago area. It was built in 1917 by Samuel Scott Joy and it’s a rare glimpse at Late Gothic Revival/Industrial Gothic building design from the early 20th century. Preservation Chicago calls it one of the 7 most endangered buildings in the city.
