Lanes on the Stevenson Expressway (I-55) near Darien were shut down during the busy Thursday morning rush hour commute due to a two-vehicle crash, with major delays expected.
The crash, involving a dump truck and a truck tractor semi-trailer, occurred about 5:24 a.m. in the southbound lanes of I-55 at Route 83 in Willowbrook, Illinois State Police said. No injuries were reported.
