$10,000 reward offered for information in Greater Grand Crossing homicide

Cook County Crime Stoppers is offering a $10,000 reward for information about a deadly shooting on the city’s  South Side earlier this week.

They said around 5:12 a.m. on Thursday, a 59-year-old man, identified as Ben Figgures, was found unresponsive in the 300 block of West 76th Street in the Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood.

Chicago police said the victim was found with lacerations and trauma to his face. He was taken to the University of Chicago Hospital, where he was pronounced dead…
