A driver was going 63 mph in a 30 mph zone when he slammed into a woman on a three-wheeled motorcycle stopped at a South Side intersection, prosecutors said. He then got out of his SUV, asked a witness if he had killed someone, and walked away.
Despite those allegations, a Cook County judge refused to keep him in jail to await trial.
