CINCINNATI (WXIX) – A suspect in a 2023 Cheviot murder was captured nearly 300 miles away in a town not far from Chicago.
Tamika Steele was arrested Sept. 10 in Joliet, Illinois, in connection with the November 2023 murder of 44-year-old Damien Canady, according to the Cheviot Police Department.
