A 54-year-old man died a day after he was injured while riding an e-bike in a two-vehicle hit-and-run crash in Chicago’s Garfield Ridge neighborhood, authorities said.
Juan Martin Marquez Luna of Chicago died from the injuries he sustained in the crash around noon on Tuesday, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner.
The deadly crash occurred around 5:15 a.m. on Monday at the intersection of South Archer Avenue and South Laramie Avenue, police said. The driver of a black sedan was turning at an intersection on the block when they were struck by the driver of a blue pickup truck.
