Brookfield police on April 2 arrested a 34-year-old Brookfield man for domestic battery.
Around 9:15 p.m., officers responded to the 4300 block of Maple Avenue for a report that someone had knocked someone else out inside a residence. Police made contact with the caller, who said a man had struck them in the face; officers observeda bruise there. Someone else said the man had struck them with a closed fist.
Officers entered the residence, where someone provided them with video footage of the initial incident. In the video, the man engaged in a verbal argument before punching someone in the face, causing them to fall to the ground before getting back up and throwing a chair at the man, who then charged at the person, choked them and punched them repeatedly…
