West Garfield Park Mass Shooting Kills 3, Injures 1: ‘A Tragedy For The Whole Community’

WEST GARFIELD PARK — A $10,000 reward is being offered for information in a Friday mass shooting that left three people dead and another man critically wounded on the West Side.

About 4:50 p.m. Friday, three men and one woman were standing on the sidewalk in the 4000 block of West Maypole Avenue when a car rolled up, police said. Two people got out of the car and started firing at the group, police said.

Rickia Williams, 32, was shot once in her back and was taken to Stroger Hospital, where she was pronounced dead, police said. A 36-year-old man, identified by the Sun-Times as Lavell Lee, was shot multiple times and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said…
