2 teenage boys, 18-year-old man face charges in connection with series of ATM robberies in Chicago early Friday morning

CHICAGO — Two teenage boys face burglary charges and an 18-year-old man faces weapons charges after an arsenal of guns was found at his property, all in connection with a spree of ATM robberies throughout the city early Friday morning.

The Chicago Police Department announced Saturday that a 16- and 17-year-old boy have each been charged with three felony counts of burglary and one misdemeanor count of criminal trespass to a vehicle following an investigation.

The investigation also found seven firearms, three of them fully automatic, along with multiple stolen items, two damaged ATMs from previous robberies, cash and cash register drawers, burglary tools and vehicle reprogramming devices.

Avion Moore, who lives at the property where the weapons were found, has been charged with seven total felony counts of unlawful use of a weapon, according to police.

Police say just before 3:30 a.m. Friday, four offenders broke a window at a business in the 3500 block of West Fullerton Avenue in Logan Square and stole an ATM before fleeing in a stolen vehicle, which was identified with community assistance…
