At long last, the Brent Spence Bridge story moves into the Ohio River.
A crane needed to build a new bridge over the Ohio, as part of the Brent Spence Bridge Corridor project, left St. Louis late on May 26 and should arrive in Cincinnati early next month.
The Elizabeth Ann barge is carrying the crane down the Mississippi River. It will connect to the Ohio just south of Cairo, Illinois, then make its way past Paducah, Kentucky; Evansville, Indiana; and Louisville, Kentucky; before arriving in Cincinnati.
