WHITEWATER TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKRC) – A leaking cylinder labeled “Precision Poisons Gas” triggered a hazardous materials response Thursday morning in Whitewater Township, prompting nearby residents and businesses to shelter in place as crews worked to contain the unknown substance.
Emergency crews were dispatched around 9:52 a.m. to Kaplan Industries on Kilby Road after reports of an approximately 80-pound compressed gas cylinder venting an unidentified material.
