CINCINNATI (WXIX) – A Tri-State mother of four who has been battling chronic kidney disease for nearly 12 years has been given less than a year to live without a transplant.
Jess Foley, 32, is a wife, sister, daughter, nurse and mother to four children, all under age 6. She has been battling chronic kidney disease since she was 21, managing her condition with diet and medications.
“Yeah what is that…I think nurses are the worst patients, so it’s been very hard for me to kind of come out and say like this is where I’m at I need your help,” Foley said.
After 12 years, her doctors say the battle could be coming to an end if she doesn’t find a living kidney donor as soon as possible…
