Pedestrian killed in I-275 crash in Hebron, deputies say

CINCINNATI (WXIX) -A pedestrian was killed Wednesday after he was hit by a tractor-trailer on westbound Interstate 275 in Hebron, according to Major Philip Ridgell with the Boone County Sheriff’s Office.

Major Ridgell says deputies were called around 11:30 p.m. to the area for the report of a crash.

A Kenworth tractor-trailer owned by United Parcel Service and driven by Michael Ferris of Richmond, Ky., was traveling westbound on I-275 near the 11-mile marker when it hit a pedestrian, 45-year-old Nicholas Justice of New Boston, Ohio, who was standing in the highway…
