CINCINNATI (WXIX) -After an active weather week, it will be nice to enjoy a mostly dry and quiet weekend. Clouds will increase a bit Saturday as a weak system moves by to our north. A very isolated and spotty shower is possible, but it shouldn’t be enough to cancel any plans. Most will stay dry and mild, with highs right around 80 degrees.
Sunday brings the first day of summer and Father’s Day. All outdoor plans should be fine throughout the daytime hours, with only a slight chance of a pop up shower. However, later in the evening, around sunset, rain will move in with stronger storms possible later Sunday evening. We are under a marginal risk for severe storms (1 out of 5) but nothing as intense as Wednesday night is anticipated. However, heavy rain could cause localized flooding where the ground is already saturated. Sunday evening and Monday are First Alert Weather Days.
The rain ends during the day Monday and temperatures stay slightly below average in the mid and upper 70s with comfortable conditions for the remainder of next week…
