CINCINNATI (WKRC) — Several downtown Cincinnati interstate ramps will close permanently or for years at a time beginning later this month as construction ramps up on the Brent Spence Bridge Corridor project.
The first closure is scheduled for June 28, when the ramp from eastbound U.S. 50/Sixth Street Viaduct to Second Street permanently closes.
Additional closures include:
- I-75 southbound to Second Street (Exit 1A): Closes permanently June 29
- U.S. 50 westbound to Gest Street: Closes permanently July 7
- I-71 northbound to Second Street (Exit 1A): Closes July 8 and is expected to remain closed until fall 2028
- Second Street: Reduced to one lane between the Clay Wade Bailey Bridge and Elm Street beginning July 9 through spring 2027
