CINCINNATI (WXIX) – Residents at Gateway Plaza apartment complex say their air conditioning units have been broken for weeks, leaving them without relief as a heat warning is in effect.
Tenants gathered outside the building Monday as temperatures reached 90 degrees. Some said their units have had no air conditioning for weeks, while others said the system goes in and out.
“My kids, we woke up with fans on, with heat on our face in our apartment. That’s irritating. I have a 2-year-old and a 6-year-old,” one resident said.
