DeWine awards more than $1.8 million for demolition projects across Greater Cincinnati

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WKRC) — More than $1.8 million will be invested in demolition projects across nine southwest Ohio counties as part of an $11.9 million state initiative to remove blighted buildings and prepare sites for redevelopment.

Gov. Mike DeWine and Ohio Department of Development Director Lydia Mihalik announced the latest round of funding Friday through the Building Demolition and Site Revitalization Program, which awarded grants to 73 counties.
