Major storms cause heavy damage across Tri-State; 150K+ without power

CINCINNATI (WXIX) – As a major storm blew through the Tri-State, a trail of damage was left in its path.

Starting at 3 p.m., much of the Tri-State was under a tornado warning, with the storms continuing into the afternoon.

According to the Duke Energy Outage Map, more than 150,000 people were left without power in the wake of the storm.

Indiana

FOX19 NOW crews spotted downed trees in Lawrenceburg, Indiana.

In Ripley, Indiana, a semi overturned on I-74 near SR-156.

Downed trees were reported across Ripley.

FOX19 NOW also received reports that a tree fell on a school bus full of students on Indiana State Route 46 near State Route 101. No students were injured, according to the report.
