A man was hospitalized after being shot in the foot on Marlow Avenue in Cincinnati’s College Hill neighborhood late Wednesday night. He was taken to UC Medical Center with injuries described as non-life-threatening, and police said no suspect information was available at the time.

UC Medical Center, where the victim was treated, is Greater Cincinnati’s only adult Level I Trauma Center. The hospital opened a $221 million emergency department expansion in July 2023 that doubled the size of its shock resuscitation units, according to UC Health.
