Unclaimed funds put Cincinnati ZIP code in top three
The Ohio Department of Commerce Division of Unclaimed Funds ranked ZIP code 45202 No. 3 statewide for unclaimed funds. The division released the rankings Sept. 10 as part of an effort to encourage Ohioans to search for money they may be owed.
The $22.9 million associated with 45202 puts the Cincinnati ZIP code behind two other Ohio ZIP codes. Findlay’s 45840 ranks first with $24.8 million, while Columbus’ 43215 ranks second with $23.9 million, according to EBS Public Now.
