Flavor and fragrance maker Givaudan to build facility on Indiana-Ohio border

WEST HARRISON, Ind. — Givaudan, a Switzerland-based company that makes flavors and fragrances, bought land for a $215 million liquid-production facility that will bring more than 250 jobs to the greater Cincinnati area.

The company announced the project Tuesday in West Harrison. The 258,000-square-foot site will sit on the Indiana-Ohio border. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2026, with partial operations expected to start in 2028.
