HAMILTON COUNTY, Ohio (WDTN) — After an initial traffic stop in Hamilton County, a pursuit continued through Clinton, Greene, Fayette and Clark counties on Monday morning.
According to a report from the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a bit after 4 a.m., Lebanon troopers located a Honda sedan on I-71 northbound as it had fled from the initial stop in Hamilton.
The fleeing vehicle failed to stop after the trooper activated his emergency overhead lights, leading to a chase across several highways and counties.
The pursuit ended when the vehicle drove off the roadway and into a field. After a brief search, four people were taken into custody.
The driver, an 18-year-old Columbus native, was charged with two felony charges that included failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer and receiving stolen property, and is incarcerated at the Warren County Jail.
The other three juveniles were also charged with receiving stolen property.
