2 of 3 suspects accused of shooting man 15 times in NKY arrested

NEWPORT, Ky. (WKRC) – Two of three suspects wanted in connection with a Newport shooting that critically injured a man earlier this month have been arrested, authorities said.

The U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force arrested Tiance Combs and Kortney Alford on Thursday in Lexington after investigators tracked their vehicle to the area.

Authorities said the pair were located inside a home and taken into custody without incident.

The arrests stem from a May 9 shooting near East 10th Street and Monmouth Street in Newport. Family members identified the victim as Trey Iles and said he was shot 15 times at close range.

Police said warrants were issued for Combs, Alford and Terry Moses on charges including attempted murder, complicity to attempted murder and facilitation of attempted murder…
