Tenn. court to weigh on reducing bond for controversial livestreamer ‘Chud the Builder’

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — A controversial Tennessee livestreamer is set to appear in a Montgomery County court Wednesday after he was charged with attempted murder.

Dalton Eatherly, who goes by “Chud the Builder” online, is charged with attempted murder for allegedly shooting a man outside the Montgomery County Courthouse in Clarksville last month.

During the court hearing, the judge will hear the following motions related to the Montgomery County shooting:

  • Motion for reduction of bail
  • Acceptance of bail source
  • Bonding companies motion to post the bond in excess
  • Motion for return of property

Eatherly’s arguments for a reduced bond include how he has no criminal convictions up until this point. He also argues he has a child who lives near Clarksville, family who live in Clarksville, he owns a construction business locally and that he is not a danger to the public.

Eatherly is also requesting his vehicle taken in connection with his May arrest be returned…
