A Christian County Grand Jury issued indictments for assault and wanton endangerment crimes on Friday.
Thirty-one-year-old Annia Williams of Jacksonville, Florida was indicted for first-degree assault after she reportedly shot a man on May 31. Williams is accused of shooting a male victim in his 30s at the Mason Pointe Apartments on North Elm Street, which sent him to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville for the treatment of serious injuries. She ended up turning herself in to authorities two days after the shooting.
Thirty-two-year-old Blake Smothers of Hopkinsville was indicted for second-degree assault domestic violence and first-degree strangulation after he reportedly attacked a woman on May 26.
