On Thursday, Aug. 6, the Clarksville City Council rejected a resolution that would have rescinded an annual charitable donation to the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System.
The annual funds from sales taxes had grown to an estimated $3.3 million through the years but is only a portion of funds the city provides to CMCSS.
