The Christian County Sheriff’s Department has released more details on a crash that occurred on Tuesday on Madisonville Road and sent several people to the hospital.
According to the collision report, a vehicle driven by 25-year-old Joseph Smith of Hopkinsville was traveling northbound on Madisonville Road when he attempted to make a left turn onto Mt. Zoar Latham Road.
That’s when he reportedly pulled into the path of a vehicle driven by 34-year-old Alejandra Gamino of Hopkinsville, and even though he tried to speed up and avoid a crash, the two collided…
