The Christian County Relay for Life will hold its third annual butterfly release on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. on the steps of the Christian County Justice Center.
Longtime Relay committee member and cancer survivor Pam Futrell said organizers began releasing butterflies instead of balloons as a more environmentally friendly way to honor those affected by cancer.
