NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A federal contract for an Immigration and Customs Enforcement support center that was previously planned for Adams, Tennessee, now appears to be headed to the Nashville area, though federal officials are not disclosing exactly where the operation will be located.
Federal contract records show the U.S. Dept. of Homeland Security and ICE awarded Alaska-based company Koniag a contract worth up to $63 million to operate a 24-hour support center for local law enforcement agencies that partner with ICE through 287(g) agreements.
