However, when the Cobras offense had what they would consider an off night, it was the defensive unit that powered Kirkwood to a gritty, physical 14-7 rivalry win over Rossview in hostile territory.
AJ Little-Hayes picked off a pass in the end zone at the buzzer to cap off the Cobras’ third straight win in the rivalry over the Hawks and cemented the Kirkwood defensive unit as one of the county’s best.
