The Christian County Animal Shelter took in more than 400 animals in July and found homes for more than 100, according to the shelter’s monthly report presented to the Christian Fiscal Court.
Animal Shelter Director Sherry Viall said 406 animals came into the shelter during the month, including 21 that had previously been adopted and were returned.
The shelter recorded 106 adoptions and 19 animals reclaimed by their owners. Another 25 animals were placed in foster care, and 12 went into trial adoptions…
