CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Miss Tennessee USA Sydney Grace Young has returned from her Miss USA finals appearance in Miami, Florida, and while she didn’t bring home the crown, she said those were truly the best 10 days of her life.
“Getting to represent Tennessee on the Miss USA stage as part of the 75th anniversary class was an honor I will never take for granted,” she told Clarksville Now. “From my state costume and interview to every section of competition, I’m so proud of how I showed up and represented my state. I truly could not have done it without my village, who supported, encouraged, and believed in me every step of the way.”
Young said she was thankful to be surrounded by former Miss USAs throughout the week, including women who helped shape the legacy dating back decades ago, as well as the “sisters” she met along the way…
